My ‘shop my essentials’ guides will be forever growing. This ‘shop my essentials: kitchen guide’ lays out some of my favorite kitchen products. After spending hundreds of hours in a kitchen, during that time I have tested many many many products. Some I loved and some I thought were well…dumb.

This kitchen guide is here to lay out some of my favorite products for cooking + for looks. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, i’m that person that always wants my plate to be pretty before i eat what’s on it, therefore that same feeling applies to the products and tools that I use in my day to day. The ultimate products aka my favorites are the ones that look nice + serve a function.

These products are all tried, true and tested by yours truly.

shop my essentials: kitchen guide – cooking tools

This section is loaded with some of my favorite cooking tools. These include things like spatulas, knives, cutlery, measuring cups, whisks, etc… Majority of these tools I use in my day to day cooking. However, a couple of them I use as props for my videos + photography.

100 pcs piping bags – perfect for someone who’s doing a lot of piping and doesn’t feel like doing a lot of cleaning!

Homestia 10 Piece Gold Cooking + Baking Utensil Set – I have this exact set and I love it, I use it for photography + cooking!

Gold Measuring Spoons and Cups, 8 Piece Stainless Steel – A cheaper version of the first set, with less pieces

OXO Good Grips Silicone Spatula – great strong + sturdy spatula

White Gold Flatware, Royal 20 Piece – I have this exact set and I love it! I mainly use it for photo props!

Gugrida Black Flatware, Royal 20 Piece Luxury Matte Finish – the matte black version of the gold!

gold + white cutlery, gold measuring cups + a spatula

kitchen storage

These are some of my favorite kitchen storage products. These include (very cute) pasta containers, flour / sugar containers + general food storage! All of these are things in use in my everyday life.

EZOWare 4 Piece Clear Glass Jars with Natural Bamboo Lids – I have these and I cannot tell you how much i love these, like so much. I use the small set to hold things like cocoa powder, arrowroot starch + chocolate chips.

EZOWare 4 Piece Clear Glass Jar with Natural Bamboo Lids – 900ml – this is one size up from the first set – I use these for rice, quinoa, lentils, etc…

Starfrit Prokeeper 4-Container Set – I have these and I LOVE them so much. They seal so well, they come with a drop down bar – so you can level your sugar/flour. They fit a whole bag of flour/sugar and overall they are worth the money. 10/10 would recommend.

cast iron

Cast iron pans should be your best friend in the kitchen and if you don’t own one, run don’t walk to order one. You will not regret it and you will wonder how you went so long without one. If I am cooking something on my stovetop, I’m cooking it in this. Even if I am baking, sometimes I use this. Trust the process.

Lodge 12-Inch Logic Pre-Seasoned Skillet – a classic, great size for big dishes

Lodge Cast Iron Skillet, Pre-Seasoned 10.25″ – a great standard size if the 12″ is too much for you

Lodge 6.5″ Pre-Seasoned Skillet – the best little egg or skillet cookie pan around

Lodge Scrub Brush for Cast Iron – if you have a cast iron pan, you’re gonna need the brush

baking dishes

These are some of my favorite baking dishes, I didn’t include every size here, these are more based on which brands I prefer.

Le Creuset Baking Dish – I am not a fan of red however my mom is. I have this exact dish at home and love it.

Pyrex 2Piece Basics Baking Dish – Pyrex dishes are more tried and true than any other product in my house. They’re sturdy, clean well + guaranteed a good bake every time – providing you followed you the recipe.

pots + dutch ovens

These pots do not contain every size however they are made in several different sizes. Similarly to the baking dishes, I focused more on the brands I love rather then the size or colour of the pot.

Le Creuset Enameled Cast Iron Round French Oven – Le Creuset makes a lot of my favorite pieces in the kitchen. Just don’t use metal in them and you’ll be good to go.

Lodge 6-Quart Dutch Oven – similarly to the baking dishes, I don’t love the colour red. However, the colour of something does not make the food taste any different. In short, lodge makes incredible products and this dutch oven is one of them.
