if you’re looking for a banger chicken recipe, look no further, this is the one. chilli lime chicken + mango avocado salsa is a fan favourite for me. its amazing on its own but it super versatile. it can be served with rice and made into a burrito bowl, it can be served on a salad, made into a sandwich, the opportunities here are plentiful. 10/10 would recommend!!
how to: chilli lime chicken + mango avocado salsa
the process of making this chicken is so easy you will be wondering what took you so long to make it!!
step 1: Clean and prep chicken breasts, set aside.
step 2: In a large bowl or plastic bag, add lime juice, olive oil, honey, soy sauce, garlic, chilli powder, paprika, cayenne + cumin. Add chicken to mixture and let marinate for a minimum 1 hour to overnight. The longer you leave the chicken in, the stronger the flavour will be.
step 3: When ready to cook, preheat grill to 400 degrees F. Grill chicken for 5-6 minutes per side or until internal temperature reaches at least 165 degrees F. Remove from grill and set aside until ready to serve.
for the mango avocado salsa, combine mango, avocado, jalapeño, onion, lime juice, cilantro + salt. Serve with the chicken!

Chilli Lime Chicken
- 4 chicken breast boneless + skinless
- 2 limes juiced
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 2 tsp honey
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 2 tsp soy sauce sub tamari
- 2 tsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp cayenne
Mango Avocado Salsa
- 1 mango cubed
- 1 avocado cubed
- ½ red onion diced
- 1 jalapeño diced
- ¼ cup cilantro chopped
- 1 lime juiced
- kosher salt to taste
